LG launches Optimus L7 II Dual, Optimus L3 II Dual in India




LG Electronics recently launched its Optimus L-series II smartphones, the Optimus L7 II Dual and Optimus L3 II Dual in India. The LG Optimus L7 II Dual is available for Rs 18,650, while the LG Optimus L3 II Dual is priced at Rs 8,800.

The Optimus L7 II Dual is a dual-SIM smartphone and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8225 chip. It has 768MB of RAM and comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box. There's a 2,460 mAh battery on board, besides the usual connectivity options. The smartphone also offers Live LG Mobile TV, to watch 50+ live channels on the go. The Optimus L7 II Dual comes with LG’s UX features such as QSlide and QuickTranslator.

The Optimus L3 II Dual comes with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and is fuelled by a 1,540mAh battery. It has a 3.2-inch QVGA IPS display with a resolution of 240x320 pixels along with a 3-megapixel primary camera. There's 4GB of internal memory and support for another 32GB of space via microSD cards.

The Optimus L Series II will follow the same design philosophy as that of the previous phones in the L series, but with some new design elements, including laser-cut contours, a radiant rear design and LED lighting on the home button.



The L Series II also offers an expanded set of features, including those unique to LG smartphones such as QuickMemo, Quick Button and Safety Care. QuickMemo allows users to capture and share handwritten ideas with others using just a fingertip. Quick Button enables customers to personalise a hotkey to launch any app such as the camera, browser, music player or even QuickMemo. Safety Care offers three options—Emergency Call Forwarding, Phone Non-Usage Notice and My Location Notice—which can be programmed to contact someone in case of an emergency.
